Polyethylene pipe has become the preferred
material in transferring water for irrigation needs. Polyethylene’s advantages
for irrigation applications include its ability to be a fully sealed system,
its flexibility and its long term performance benefits.
Polyethylene’s characteristics of being
corrosion resistant, pressure ranges up to 2500kpa and its strong UV resistant
capability make it an ideal choice for many irrigation needs.
KenKar Plastics can coordinate either the
supply of pipe and fittings for a project as well as weld the pipeline for
irrigation installers to commission. Suction lines, transfer lines, pump
manifolds, tank manifolds and trunk mains can be welded on site by our crews
ready to drop into trenches or to connect to existing work. This can reduce the
need for joining of pipes with compression or electrofusion couplings which are
traditionally used in many applications.
KenKar Plastics have
completed many projects for irrigation contractors, councils, turf farms,
artesian bore schemes and golf courses to name a few.
